We Start With a Tasting Flight

Before any of the growing talk, you will sample several varieties side by side — and find out how different they actually taste from one another.

Most people arrive thinking microgreens are one thing. Radish is genuinely spicy. Pea shoots are sweet. Sunflower is nutty and substantial enough to eat like a salad. Once you have tasted them next to each other, the question stops being "should I grow microgreens" and becomes "which ones do I want in the fridge." That is the point of starting there.

Then We Get Hands-On

The rest of the class walks the full cycle, start to finish:

  • What microgreens are, and why people keep growing them
  • Which varieties are genuinely easiest to start with
  • Seeds, soil, trays and supplies you actually need — and what you can skip
  • How to plant, and how to water without drowning them
  • The blackout period and the growing stages that follow
  • Lighting and daily care
  • When and how to harvest
  • How to store your harvest and actually use it

You will not just watch

Everyone plants their own tray during class and takes it home to finish growing and harvest. You leave with something already started, not just notes — which is the difference between meaning to try it and actually having greens on the counter in ten days.
