Where do I pick up my order?
All preorders are held for pickup at the Broken Arrow Farmers Market. The market runs Saturdays April through October. Brooke will hold your order at the Teeny Greeny booth until you arrive.
When are microgreens harvested?
All microgreens are harvested the night before market day, then packed and refrigerated for next-day pickup. This means you are getting the freshest possible product — typically less than 12 hours from cut to your hands.
Do I pay online?
No. This website reserves your order only. Payment is collected at market pickup. Teeny Greeny accepts cash and most major cards at the booth.
What varieties of microgreens does Teeny Greeny grow?
Current weekly varieties include broccoli, salad mix, arugula, radish, pea shoots, and sunflower. Availability can shift by season. The preorder page always reflects what is available for the current week.
How long do microgreens stay fresh?
Properly stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator, Teeny Greeny microgreens will stay fresh for 5–10 days. Because they are harvested the night before market, you get the full shelf life from day one. Keep them dry and cold and they hold up well.
What is the cutoff to place a preorder?
Preorders close Wednesday evening before each Saturday market. Orders submitted after cutoff will be held for the following market date. Brooke will confirm your order by email once it is received.
Are Teeny Greeny microgreens grown locally in Broken Arrow?
Yes. All microgreens are grown in small batches locally in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma by Brooke. There are no resellers or distributors — every tray is seeded, grown, harvested, and brought to market by Brooke herself.
Do you offer restaurant or wholesale orders?
Yes. Teeny Greeny supplies fresh microgreens to restaurants within 30 miles of Broken Arrow. Standing weekly orders can be arranged for Thursday evening delivery or Saturday market pickup. A free consultation with Brooke is included for every new restaurant partner. See the restaurant ordering page for details.
What guides are you creating?
Brooke has a free beginner guide available now focused on the 10-day grow cycle, setup basics, and harvest timing. Enter your email in the guide section to get instant access. She also has a paid digital guide, 30 Days to Market, focused on the farmers market business model, from production and booth setup to scaling into restaurant and subscription sales. It is available for $19 in the guide section.
What does a consult with Brooke include?
A short personal check-in — either a quick email exchange or a 15-minute call — to help you with your grow. Whether you are troubleshooting germination problems, figuring out which varieties to start with, or optimizing your grow space, Brooke can help. No charge, no sales pitch.
Are microgreens the same as sprouts?
No. Sprouts are grown in water with no growing medium and are eaten root-to-shoot. Microgreens are grown in soil or a growing medium, harvested at the first true leaf stage, and only the above-soil portion is eaten. Microgreens have more developed flavor, better texture, and typically higher nutrient density than sprouts.
How are microgreens used in cooking?
Microgreens are used as a finishing green on salads, sandwiches, tacos, eggs, soups, pizza, and grain bowls. Peppery varieties like radish and arugula pair well with rich foods. Sweet varieties like pea shoots and sunflower work well in lighter dishes. Broccoli microgreens are extremely versatile and work in almost any application. They are best added raw just before serving.
How do I follow Teeny Greeny on social media?
Brooke posts weekly growing content, harvest-day reels, and behind-the-scenes market prep on TikTok at @teenygreenymicrogreens. It is the best way to see the grow in real time and know what is coming to market each week.
Can I place an order for more than one market date?
Right now, preorders are set up one pickup date at a time so each order stays accurate to that week’s availability. If you need recurring weekly orders, email Brooke directly and she can help set up a repeat schedule.
Can I update or cancel my preorder after submitting?
Yes. Send an email as soon as possible with your name and pickup date, and Brooke will adjust the order when timing allows. The earlier you message, the easier it is to make changes before harvest planning is finalized.
How much should I order for one week?
For most households, 2–4 clamshells per week is a good starting point depending on how often you cook at home. If you use greens daily on eggs, sandwiches, salads, and bowls, start closer to 4 and adjust from there.
Do I need to wash microgreens before using them?
Teeny Greeny harvests and packs with clean handling practices, but a quick rinse is always a good habit before serving. Pat dry gently and add as a final topping so texture and flavor stay at their best.
What if a variety sells out after I submit my order?
If a crop comes in short for any reason, Brooke will contact you before pickup with options. You can substitute another available variety or adjust your total order.
